Yearly, around 4000 students appear for medical programs at the university. Most of the students are from foreign countries like India, Iraq, Bangladesh, Germany, Kyrgyzstan etc. In 1991, the university established the faculty of international students. Under the faculty, the university prepares a number of foreign students in various disciplines like General Medicine, Dentistry, Pediatrics and Pharmacy. The university has active participation in the implementation of scientific projects, clinical research and innovation related to science and technology.
